A good headhunter will :
1. Maintain a very good relationship with its client, both the candidate and the company. To the candidate, they will act as a friend. They give feedback to the candidate regarding the interview result, being honest about the result and give some advice for the future goods of the candidate. Even if the candidate has been succeeded employed, they still make a good friendship, asking the progress and the update during the probation period, and so many.
2. Have a good uncommon network. If you just source the candidate from Linked-In, why do we recruitment in the company has to hire a headhunter to help us? Instead we can do it by myself. The only reason why we hire a headhunter is because we expect them to have other source, that we recruitment cannot connect to! So give us a valuable network.
3. Possess integrity. They will not keeping sending unsuitable resume to client just because they have a target to send the report or to fulfill the quota of the number of CV sent. If the CV is not good or not suitable, they will stop sending it to client. It’s not about quantity but the quality, they’re prioritizing. And it’s a good thing a headhunter can give to us.
